Maria Neto

From childhood, Maria Neto has always been fascinated by Space. This passion was nurtured by her parents, who always took her to see eclipses and stars.
When she discovered the Astronaut for a Day program, she did not hesitate to apply. The experience of floating like an astronaut in microgravity was incredible and opened new horizons for her.
She is currently studying Aerospace Engineering at the University of Aveiro, where she is involved in projects such as Start For Future and NAVEE – the Aerospace Core of the University of Aveiro, with which she wants to participate in EuRoC.
