Emir Sirage é Diretor Executivo da Agenda NEW SPACE PORTUGAL no CEiiA, supervisionando 180 milhões de euros em investimentos, ao mesmo tempo que dirige o Space for Business na Nova SBE. Nos últimos 20 anos, construiu uma carreira sólida em tecnologia, espaço e colaboração internacional, ocupando cargos importantes no CERN, ESA, AIR Centre e ESO.
Como perito nacional na NIAG-Spacenet da NATO, tem impulsionado a presença de Portugal no espaço, trabalhando com o MIT, a NASA e outros. Anteriormente CEO/COO do AIR Centre, especializou-se em estratégia, desenvolvimento de negócios e parcerias globais.
Fluente em quatro línguas, a sua experiência diversificada e a sua liderança contribuíram significativamente para o crescimento de Portugal na alta tecnologia e no sector espacial.
Emir Sirage is Executive Director of the NEW SPACE PORTUGAL Agenda at CEiiA, overseeing €180M in investments and directing Space for Business at Nova SBE. Over the last 20 years, he has built a strong technology, space, and international collaboration career, holding key roles at CERN, ESA, AIR Centre, and ESO.
As a national expert in NATO’s NIAG-Spacenet, he has driven Portugal’s presence in space, working with MIT, NASA, and others. Formerly CEO/COO of the AIR Centre, he specialises in strategy, business development, and global partnerships.
Fluent in four languages, his diverse experience and leadership have significantly contributed to Portugal’s high technology and space sector growth.
