Liliana Reis é, atualmente, deputada à Assembleia da República, Vice-Presidente da Comissão de Defesa Nacional, membro da Assembleia Interparlamentar da OSCE e do Conselho Superior de Segurança no Ciberespaço.
É, também, professora da Universidade da Beira Interior e da Universidade Lusófona, tendo exercido em ambas as Instituições o cargo de direção da licenciatura em Ciência Política e Relações Internacionais.
É licenciada em Relações Internacionais pela Universidade do Minho, mestre em Ciência Política e Relações Internacionais pela Universidade Católica e doutorada em Ciência Política e Relações Internacionais pela Universidade do Minho.
Liliana Reis é, também, investigadora integrada do Instituto Português de Relações Internacionais e a sua investigação tem incidido sobretudo sobre a União Europeia e Segurança e Defesa.
Tem publicado sobretudo sobre estas temáticas, quer a nível nacional, quer a nível internacional.
Liliana Reis is currently a Member of the Portuguese Parliament, Vice-President of the National Defence Committee, and a member of both the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and the Higher Council for Cyberspace Security.
She lectures at the University of Beira Interior and Universidade Lusófona, where she has also served as Director of the undergraduate programme in Political Science and International Relations.
She holds a degree in International Relations and a PhD in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Minho, as well as a Master’s from the Catholic University of Portugal.
Liliana Reis is also a research fellow at the Portuguese Institute of International Relations, with a focus on the European Union, Security and Defence. She has published extensively on these topics both nationally and internationally.
