Gonçalo Machado and Maria Saraiva

Team RED (Rocketry Experiment Division), from Instituto Superior Técnico, designs, builds, tests, and launches rockets. It was created in September 2017 and is composed of students from different areas sharing a passion for space. They were the first Portuguese team to participate and successfully launch a rocket at the European Rocketry Challenge (EuRoC), in 2021, and the first Portuguese team to win an award at the same competition (2023).
