Innovation Director IPN – Instituto Pedro Nunes and ESA Space Solutions Portugal Director This initiative of the European Space Agency, aims to promote the individual results of the three technology transfer programs promoted by ESA: ESA Business Incubation Center (ESA BIC), Technology Transfer Network (Brokers) and Business Applications (Ambassador Platform).
Previously, he was responsible for supporting technology-based companies installed in IPN’s business incubator. Responsible for managing applications and negotiating financing through Venture Capital instruments and PT2020 and H2020 programs, focusing its activity on innovation and R&D.
Since 2017, he has been an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship and Business Management at the Master of Computer Engineering at FCTUC / Univ. Coimbra.
Actively participates as speaker, jury and mentor in acceleration programs
Main interests: New Space Economy, sustainability, eHealth and Active Ageing.
