Ana Santos Pinto is Assistant Professor at the Department of Political Studies and Assistant Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences at NOVA University of Lisbon (NOVA FCSH). She is also Researcher and Executive Director of the Portuguese Institute of International Relations (IPRI-NOVA), and member of the Board of Trustees of Luso-American Development Foundation (FLAD).
Between 2018 and 2019, she was Secretary of State for National Defense of the Portuguese Government.
She holds a PhD in International Relations from Universidade NOVA de Lisboa.
